Job Details

Pay Range:

$34.21 - $51.31

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Microscopically screens slides for disease conditions, including malignant or premalignant cells, to assist pathologist in making an accurate diagnosis as to cause of symptoms or disease.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Genetics, Cytotechnology or relevant field required.
  • Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) Accredited School of Cytotechnology.
  • Before September 1, 1992- have completed a Baccalaureate degree with appropriate course work in mathematics and science and registry by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as Cytotechnologist or eligible.

Experience Qualifications

  • No experience required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

  • Certified Cytotechnologist required (CT(ASCP))
